2019年3月26日、「NIKE（ナイキ）」にとって特別な記念日と言える “Air Max Day” には一切スニーカーが発売されないかもしれないという事実が判明したのでお伝えします。

2014年から毎年3月26日に “Air Max Day” を開催し、多数のエアマックスシリーズモデルをリリースしてきた「NIKE（ナイキ）」。しかし、今年は “Give Fresh Air” という新たな試みを行うようで、地域の団体と連携し、より強固なコミュニティ意識を築くための取り組みを実施予定とのことです。
簡単に言うと、今までエアマックスデイを記念して多数リリースされていたモデルを、小出しにして長いスパンで発売すると言うニュアンス。2019年では「On Air」という世界6都市それぞれの街を表現したエアマックス6足のリリースが予想されていましたが、これらのリリースも感覚を空けるのかもしれません。
現時点では、新たなキャンペーンを行うという事なのでどのようなスケジュールになるのか気になるところ。今後のアナウンスには例年以上に敏感になる必要があるかもしれませんね。
